Mmmm, Cherry Cheesecake…cherries wait until after, kids don’t like them!

This is a recipe my mom has made me every year since I was a kid. John took over, now the torch has been passed to Alex. Thanks Alex!

Lizzie’s (No-Bake) Cheesecake

Crust:

2 cups graham cracker crumbs

4 Tbsp. sugar

1/4 cup butter

Mix together, press into bottom of an 8 inch springform pan. Bake for 15 minutes at 375 degrees. Cool.

Filling:

2 pkg Dream Whip – mixed according to package.

2 pkg softened cream cheese

1 cup icing sugar

In bowl, beat cream cheese. Beat in icing sugar. Fold in Dream Whip. Add to crust and chill. Top with canned cherries.

Yummy!

To top it off, I got a Christmas Playmobil Advent Calendar (I’m still a kid), an indigo gift card, an iTunes card and the expansion set of Traders and Barbarians for our Settlers of Catan game.  Not sure that will lead to some peaceful family time…those of you with the game will understand!
