Happy Back to School!!
Back to school is a time of anticipation, anxiety, renewal, happiness and many other emotions, all different depending on who you are…student, parent, teacher, administrator or school secretary. Sometimes, such as myself, I wear a couple of hats, guidance counsellor(teacher) and parent. Thankfully my kids both had great days today. The worrying of the first day of high school was totally unnecessary. After school I even enlisted my daughter to give a tour for another student who was too anxious to actually attend the first day. Bless her.
The ones I would like to draw attention to today are our school secretaries. My guidance secretary is amazing. I left at 7:15 and she was still there. So dedicated to making school start up as seamless as possible. All of our school secretaries are hard working and dedicated to having our school run smoothly from pre-registration to commencement to the day to day.
I like to give little treats our front office and my department. Thanks to the Lindt Outlet in Kitchener, they will all have a little pick me up when needed this week! Happy Back to School!
